UL Ratings

UL 1/2-Hour 350 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to maintain an interior temperature below 350°F when exposed to a fire for one half hour at temperatures up to 1550℉. Following the test, the paper contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 1-Hour 350 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to maintain an interior temperature below 350°F when exposed to a fire for one hour at temperatures up to 1700℉. Following the test, the paper contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 2-Hour 350 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to maintain an interior temperature below 350°F when exposed to a fire for two hours at temperatures up to 1850℉. Following the test, the paper contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 1-Hour 125 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to protect media by maintaining internal temperature below 125°F when exposed to fire for one hour at temperatures up to 1700℉. Following the test, the magnetic media contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 2-Hour 125 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to protect media by maintaining internal temperature below 125°F when exposed to fire for two hours at temperatures up to 1850℉. Following the test, the magnetic media contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 3-Hour 125 Fire-Rated
Device was tested to confirm its ability to protect media by maintaining internal temperature below 125°F when exposed to fire for three hours at temperatures up to 1925℉. Following the test, the magnetic media contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL 30-ft Impact-Rated
Device was tested in fire conditions by being dropped 30-ft onto a base of bricks and concrete. The unit was then inverted and reheated for at least 30 minutes to a temperature of 1550℉ or more. Following the test, the contents of the storage device were examined and determined to be in usable condition.

UL High-Security Key Lock
Lock was subjected to rigorous picking, prying and drilling to confirm professional-grade security.

UL Burglary-Rated
Device was subjected to a full five minutes of rigorous pulling, prying, drilling, punching, chiseling and tampering attacks by security professionals to confirm the highest level of burglary-resistant protection.

Intertek ETL Ratings

ETL Water-Resistant
Device was subjected to sprinkler spray and its contents were examined to confirm water-resistant protection.

ETL 1/2-Hour Fire-Rated For Digital Media
Verified to protect hard drives, DVDs, and other electronic media from heat exposure for 1/2 hour

ETL 1-Hour Fire-Rated For Digital Media
Verified to protect hard drives, DVDs, and other electronic media from heat exposure for 1 hour

ETL 1/2-Hour Fire-Rated
Device was subjected to fire conditions of up to 1550℉ for one half hour. After the test, the electronic media contents of the device, including drives and DVDs, were inspected and found to be in usable condition.

ETL 1-Hour Fire-Rated
Verified to maintain an interior temperature below 350°F when exposed to a fire for 1 hour
