NKL AuditLok XL Electronic System
The AuditLok®XL Dual Compartment Safe offers NKL’s premier lock built into NKL’s premier burglar resistant safe. 1/4" A-36 steel plate construction is reinforced by exterior doors of 1/2" thick precision steel, with hard-plate protection. Body components are bent to preserve the steel’s natural strength. The Safe is welded from the inside out with a minimum 1/4" deep penetrating weld. Finally, door frames are milled from one inch solid steel. The result is a stronger, longer-lasting product.

Security Features and Benefits
Positive User Identification
Dual access accountability with both a smart key and a personal identification number (PIN) provides a redundant identity check.
Encrypted Audit Trail
The Audit Trail will give you the ability to recreate events that take place with the Safe. The memory will retain up to 5000 events. One method of viewing the audit is through the display.
Digital Access
The AuditLok®XL Safe is easy for an authorized employee to open. The digital system allows you to open the safe in as little as 4 seconds.
Multiple Levels of Authority
You are empowered to give your employees the controlled access you determine.
Printer Interface
The safe has a printer port which gives you the ability to print the audit report on a standard serial printer (printer not included).
Time Lock
Banks have used time locks since the turn of the century. Now NKL’s electronic Time Lock feature offers you the security of limited access to the safe, at your discretion. If you want the safe to be accessible only during business hours, for example, set Time Lock and no one can open it during closed hours.
Time Delay
NKL's Time Delay feature forces an authorized Safe opening to be delayed before access is permitted. During a robbery an employee may be forced to open the inner safe. When the employee enters a key and PIN, however, the Safe displays "Time Delay" prompt. A clock starts counting. Since the robber has no idea how long he will have to wait, he may leave quickly, settling for only the contents of the outer safe.
Day-Lock Prevention
The Safe can be programmed to alarm if the door is left open in day-lock. For example: If you want the door to be open no longer than five minutes, you program the safe to buzz after being left open 5 minutes. If a violation occurs, it will also be flagged in the audit report.
Armor Car Override
If you have an Armor Car pickup, an Armor car key is available that requires dual authorization for a safe opening.
Remote Access
The AuditLok®XL Safe can communicate via modem (modem not included) to a remote personal computer. The Audit report can then be viewed and printed privately. Another benefit of Remote Access is the ability to deactivating keys.
Duress Alarm
The safe can be integrated into your existing alarm system to activate the Duress Alarm feature. In the event of a robbery, the operator can key in their PIN plus-1 to open the safe and activate your silent alarm.
Audit Trail
The AuditLok®XL provides a maximum of 5,000 lines of printed audit data.
Non-Volatile (FLASH) Memory
In the event the 8-hr battery back-up should expire, the system would retain your critical data for easy recovery.
