Security Features and Benefits

Positive User Identification - Log in with either a smart key (keyed version) or a user ID number (keyless version) and a personal identification number (PIN) for redundant identity check.

Encrypted Audit Trail
The Audit Trail will give you the ability to recreate events that take place with the Safe. The memory will retain up to 2000 events. One method of viewing the audit is through the display.

Digital Access
Sherlock is easy for an authorized employee to open. The digital system allows you to open the safe in as little as 4 seconds.

Multiple Levels of Authority
User keys allow access to the safe; a manager key also allows accessing the audit and deleting users; an Area manager key allows complete enroll and delete permission with the added ability to adjust timelock settings; an Owner key further includes the permission to adjust the inner door delay; an armor car key is also available.

Printer Interface
The safe has a printer port which gives you the ability to print the audit report on a standard serial printer (printer not included).

Time Lock
Banks have used time locks since the turn of the century. Now NKL’s electronic Time Lock feature offers you the security of limited access to the safe, at your discretion. If you want the safe to be accessible only during business hours, for example, set Time Lock and no one can open it during closed hours.

Time Delay
NKL's Time Delay feature forces an authorized Safe opening to be delayed before access is permitted. During a robbery an employee may be forced to open the inner safe. When the employee enters a key and PIN, however, the Safe displays "Time Delay" prompt. A clock starts counting. Since the robber has no idea how long he will have to wait, he may leave quickly, settling for only the contents of the outer safe.

Armor Car Override
If you have an Armor Car pickup, an Armor car key is available that requires dual authorization for a safe opening.

Audit Trail
Sherlock provides a maximum of 2,000 lines of printed audit data.
