 About Dual-Install Software Dual
Install Playback (41 MB zip, Includes both of the above) Use this software if you need to connect to Image Vault PRO and Image Vault PRO-Command recorders. To connect to both old (Image Vault PRO) and new (Image Vault PRO-Command) DVRs, Version 8.7.1 and Version 9.3.0 Playback software is required. There have been several changes made to both the Version 8 and Version 9 Playback software to allow for a seamless connection to a Version 9 recorder or a Version 8 recorder. The latest version of these software applications also allows for a seamless opening of downloaded video from a Version 8 or Version 9 recorder. The new interface will allow for using the Version 9 Playback software as a single interface for connecting to all recorders. When the Version 9 Playback software is started for the first time, if there are network or modem connections setup in the Version 8 Playback software, the Version 9 Playback software will automatically import those entries, and place them in a sub-folder labeled "Imported Entries". There is also an option in the File Menu to Manually import entries from the Version 8 Playback software. To connect to a Version 8 recorder from Version 9 Playback, check the box labeled "Connect With Version 8 Software" when configuring the connection. When the Version 8 recorder is replaced with a Version 9 recorder, simply edit that entry, and un-check this box, then save the entry.
