CMS Sofware Connection to EM Series DEMO: To connect to our Image Vault EM Series "online demo" unit, extract the files in this download and run the CMS installation utility. Five icons will be added to your desktop. Establish a connection to the internet. Open the CMS Watch application to watch live video only or open the CMS Playback to view stored video only. The first time you do this, make a new server connection: 1) Select the server connection icon underneath the Image Vault logo and select connection; 2) in the "Group" box type in a name of your choosing, and select add. 3) enter another name in the "name" box 4) in the "address box" enter 12.10.50.137 and in the "ID" box enter "guest" and leave the rest of the boxes the same 5) click "Add." Click Connect. Log in with user name "guest" (must be lower case) and leave the password field blank. When you connect an icon will appear under the server list. Click on that icon and drag it into the window on the left to view cameras.

Browser Connection to EM Series DEMO: Using Internet Explorer (do not use FireFox) go to http://12.10.50.137. If you are asked to install the Korean language package hit cancel then the log in screen should appear normally. At the login screen type in "guest" (all lower case) in the user name field. Leave the password field blank. Click Login. An Active-X control must be loaded. If your pop-up blocker prevents this, you must disable your pop-up blocker to allow loading.

Image Vault PRO-COMMAND DEMO: To connect to our Image Vault PRO-Command "online demo" unit, open the PRO Command playback software while you are connected to the internet, make a new network entry for IP address 12.10.50.142, and log in with user name MANAGER and password MANAGER for manager level authority.

Version 9.3.0 Recorder Software Update

If your PRO-Command DVR currently has Version 9.0 to 9.2.1 you may update your DVR to version 9.3.0 as follows:
1.

Download the Auto-Update patch file (1 MB) to your PC. Note: This patch must be installed before upgrading any PRO-Command 9.2.1 or earlier DVR.
2. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.

Download the recorder update file (10 MB) to your PC.
4. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.

Download the skins (optional) update file (300 KB) to your PC.
6. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
7. Download and install on your PC the Version 9.3.0 playback software (above) to fully support the new features when you connect remotely.

PRO Recorder Version 8.7 & Version 8.1.1 Software Updates

WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPDATE ANY VERSION 7.x OR EARLIER PRO DVR TO VERSION 8.7. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR VERSION 7.x OR EARLIER DVR TO FAIL.

Update versions 8.0 through 8.6 to Version 8.7 before updating to Version 8.7.1. This is necessary because the Version 8.7.1 update only includes essential application updates from Version 8.7.

If your PRO DVR currently has Version 8.0 to 8.6 you may update your DVR to version 8.7 as follows:
1.

Download the update file (21 MB) to your PC.
2. Connect via IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this file to your Version 8.0 to 8.6 DVR (refer to the help system in your ivplay8 software for details on using remote update). Alternate procedure: copy this zip file to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
3. Download and install the Version 8.7 playback (above) software to fully support the new features when you connect remotely.

If your PRO DVR currently has Version 8.7 you may update your DVR to version 8.7.1 as follows (Update from Version 8.7 to Version 8.7.1 is definitely needed if you have an IVQ4 data hub):

Download the update file (3.2 MB) to your PC.
2. Connect via IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this file to your Version 8.7 DVR (refer to the help system in your ivplay8 software for details on using remote update). Alternate procedure: copy this zip file to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.

About Version 8.7: This recording software update adds support for the new Daylight Savings Time schedule in the USA effective in 2007. Version 8.7 also adds a POS overlay feature for playback and the VGA monitor mode.
