Sensible SolutionsNKL's Autobank family of cash handling safes offers a range of products that can be installed in any number of combinations to accommodate virtually any validating and change vending need. The modular nature of the Autobank system allows you to install one or more bill validating safes with or without a D8 or MaxVend dispensing safe.Which of the following best describes your application?
One Register » V2C When you have just a single cash register and you are not concerned about making change, the best solution is to place a V2C under the counter very near the register. The V2C safe is available with CashCode single-note or JCM bulk-note (shown here) validators. Both versions come with a counter-top keypad/display and printer. For basic applications consider using the version of the V2C with CashCode single-note-feed bill validators. The CashCode version V2C features 3000 notes of capacity in two stacking cassettes. If you handle more cash, the register stays too busy to feed individual notes, or if you want the ability to fix bill jams in the validator without opening the safe door, you need the V2C with the JCM "BNF" bulk-feed validators. The JCM version of the V2C has 4000 notes capacity in its two stacking cassettes. The safe also includes a built-in manual drop compartment with an anti-fish drop slot. One Register » D8C & V2R Pair Even if you only have one cash register, you still go through enough change to take steps to control it. If that describes you, then increase control and flexibility without spending a fortune by installing the D8C/V2R system pair. Designed just for you, we put two validators in the smallest possible footprint and for convenience we bolt the V2R to the D8C. With the D8C and V2R working together you can vend or make drops independently. Go one step further and use the "buy change" feature to only allow employees to get change by buying it from the system via validated drop. The D8C portion of the system holds 80 tubes of rolled coin or bills for change. The safe also features a manual drop drawer and optional inner compartment. The V2R portion of the system is a narrow chassis that slides open to access the two 1500-note cassettes for the CashCode bill validators. The system display is mounted on the D8C (countertop display optional). A thermal printer is also included. Island Arrangement, No Change » V2C In the retail world, particularly in convenience store market, high-traffic businesses are often setup to checkout customers from two or more registers in a relatively compact island style area. When change is not an important consideration, simply place a V2C under the counter where it can be easily reached by any cashier. The V2C safe with JCM bulk-note validators is recommended for this application. The JCM version of the V2C has 4000 notes capacity in its two stacking cassettes. The safe also includes a built-in manual drop compartment with an anti-fish drop slot. A counter-top keypad/display and printer are included. Island Arrangement with Change Control » D8C and V2R Bulk In the retail world, particularly in convenience store market, high-traffic businesses are often setup to checkout customers from two or more registers in a relatively compact island style area. In this type of application there is often a need for change dispensing as well as bill validating.Combine change control with high capacity bill validation by using a D8C with a bulk JCM version V2R. Use the two safes together for buying change as well as making regular validated drops. Place both safes under the counter within easy reach of all registers. The D8C portion of the system holds 80 tubes of rolled coin or bills for change. The D8C also features a manual drop drawer and optional inner compartment. The V2R with JCM bulk-note validators is recommended because it features 4000 notes capacity and the ability to accept up to 25 notes into each feeder at any one time. Island Arrangement, Heavy Change Usage » MaxVend and V2R Bulk In the retail world, particularly in convenience store market, high-traffic businesses are often setup to checkout customers from two or more registers in a relatively compact island style area. In this type of application there is often a need for change dispensing as well as bill validating. If your business goes through large amounts of change, install a Max Vend high capacity dispensing unit along with a JCM bulk version V2R for high capacity bill validation. Use the two safes together for the ultimate control when buying change. Place both safes under the counter within easy reach of all registers. Max Vend holds six hoppers of rolled coin or bills (rolled in tubes) for change. Each hopper holds as many as 100 rolls. The JCM version V2R also features a manual drop compartment with an anti-fish drop slot. JCM bulk-note validators are recommended for maximum capacity (4000 notes total) and the ability to accept up to 25 notes into each feeder at any one time. The system display/keypad is mounted in an easy to use countertop display. A thermal printer is also included. Multiple Check Lanes » D8C with a V1R per Register In many retail businesses the registers are located at seperate checkout lanes, along wall-length counters, or at different stations around the store. Groceries, restaurants, and department stores are all excellent examples of applications that would benefit most by putting a validating safe at each register with (optionally) one change dispensing safe. The D8C dispensing safe, if included in the system, is often located in an office or customer service area or under a counter near the store's main register station. The D8C holds 80 tubes of rolled coin or bills for change. It also features a manual drop drawer and optional inner compartment. JCM bulk version validating safes are recommended for all high-volume register locations for maximum capacity and convenience. For lower traffic registers, CashCode single-note validator safes are suggested for lower volume register stations. If your system includes a D8C then all of your validating safes can be V1R units, otherwise install one V1C and the rest V1R units. In these applications the most common way to use the system is to let cashiers log into "extended drop" mode to all the validators at the register stations to accept bills on demand throughout their shift. Up to 15 V1R or V2R safes may be used with one D8C or V1C system controller. Change is controlled by the manager or customer service station. One display (built-in D8C or countertop if V1C or V2C) is provided, although up to four displays may be installed. A thermal printer is also included.
