FireKing Security Group Acquires Adesco Safe Company

New Albany, IN (June 21, 2005) - FireKing Security Group, one of the premier security and loss prevention companies in the nation, today announced the acquisition of Adesco Safe, one of the most rapidly growing safe companies in the nation. The Paramount, California-based provider of business and residential safes is one of the most established brands in the safe industry, having marked its 57th year of operation in 2004.

According to Earl Halls, President of Adesco Safe, this deal will have "tremendous positive impact on the industry, since security hardware distributors and their customers will now be enhanced with expanded product offerings, training, and marketing that we have not had the ability to provide." Mr. Halls added: "I am proud of our heritage in an industry that has been so kind to my family for generations, and we are very excited to be a part of the vision for the future of FireKing Security Group."

The Adesco Safe deal follows on a string of acquisitions made by the company. In December of 2004, FireKing Security Group announced the acquisition of McGunn Safe Company, and in March 2005 they purchased EXL Safe Corporation.

Adesco Safe’s manufacturing capabilities will be transferred to FireKing Security Group’s 51,000 square foot state-of-the-art safe manufacturing facility in Mira Loma, California. The company will operate as a separate division of FireKing Security Group.
