 Chest Safes A
"chest" safe is a single compartment safe with no drop feature. Chest safes are
available in a wide variety of sizes with either plate or composite
construction. Composite construction means the safe walls are filled with an insulating material. Composite safes offer fire protection and are fire rated in addition to providing security. Plate safes are constructed of solid steel. Dial combination locks are standard on chest safes, but you may select various upgrade options including electronic combination locks as shown here.
